Adult Literacy Classes
BDC primary school where the adult literacy classes are held. Partly destroyed by rebels during war.

The adult Literacy classes are going well. They are free for the students and teach the students to read and write in their own language, Limba and English and some numeracy skills. Mrs Namina Turay a student, said about the the classes, "I am the happiest person in the community because I can now read the notices and even read the bible in my own language. It has helped me keep records of the home expenditure which helps in managing my home." The classes are every Saturday and Sunday between 17.00-18.15 held in two primary schools BDC and AW, one on either side of the town. We now have 10 students who are ready to take the TISLL certificate exam. Which is the recognised education body for local languages. So we wish them all well for the exams.
